Police in two suburban counties are investigating a string of robberies at Dunkin Donuts stores over the last ten days, and are hoping to catch the bandit before he strikes again.
The latest holdup was early Sunday morning at the store on Ridge Pike in Conshohocken (Montgomery County), Pa. That came on the heels of two robberies last week in Delaware County, in Media and Folsom.
Police have surveillance tapes from all three robberies and confirm that it’s the same suspect.
Plymouth Township detective Jeff McGee says a witness was able to provide police with additional information:
"The getaway vehicle was being operated by someone, we believe, because the suspect got into the right rear passenger seat of a dark colored, four-door station wagon. And we believe that the first digit on the license plate is the letter H."
The suspect tells the clerk he has a gun, but no weapon has ever been shown. He’s described as a white male in his late 30s or early 40s, about 5' 5" tall, with thinning blond or light brown hair. The getaway driver is believed to be a white female.
Anyone with information is requested to contact Plymouth Township police at 610-279-1900.
