John Oates Performs at Landsdale Center

One half of the very successful singing duo Hall and Oates will be performing in Montgomery County on Saturday night, but before the performance he’ll try to inspire some local students.
John Oates is coming home, coming home to the North Penn area to perform on Saturday night at the Lansdale Center for the Performing Arts. He’ll return to his roots putting on a special acoustic performance playing his well-known songs along with some traditional folk and blues.
Before the performance, he’ll sit down with some North Penn students for an hour-long songwriting workshop:
“I think it’s important to give back. I’ve had a very successful and blessed career. I’ve been very fortunate. I’ve worked really hard and it’s paid off.”
Oates is a big supporter of music education and plans to talk to the kids about his thoughts on songwriting and hopefully inspire some of the area’s youngest writers.
