Philadelphia homicide detectives have identified the body of a South Philadelphia teenager whose body was found shot to death just after midnight Sunday morning near 7th and Spruce Streets in center city.
The victim, 17-year-old Rahfeak Griggs (spelling unconfirmed), of the 2200 block of McKean Street, died of a single gunshot wound to the chest. Detectives believe the body was transported to the area where it was found and dumped from a passing car.
Police said on Monday that they had no suspects, no motive, and did not know where the victim had been shot.
