Phillies fans at Monday night's World Series game five remained confident.
The fans knew what the Phils were facing -- a win would have sent the series back the Bronx. And a loss would have sent the Phils and their fans home without that repeat championship.
Phillies fan Chris Grover of Conshohocken says the Phils have been able to perform when they had to:
"Our backs are against the wall. We play best when our backs are against the wall. We know we need to win one game at a time. Obviously, there's three total games we need to continue to win. But one game at a time. It starts tonight with our ace. If we get off on the right foot, we have more of a chance as any team out there to win three games in a row here."
Monday's game was the last game this season at Citizens Bank Park. Game five of the World Series is Wednesday night (see related story).
