An armored car was robbed outside a Jenkintown bank branch on Thursday morning, and officials say the haul was "sizable."
The heist took place around 10:30am outside a TD Bank branch in the 700 block of Old York Road (above)
Police say a minivan containing three men pulled up alongside the armored truck and the rear passenger door slid open. Two men in the rear of the van, wearing ski masks and armed with guns, demanded cash from the truck crew.
No one was injured.
Both Abington, Pa. police and the FBI were investigating the robbery. They say the suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
