Massive Craft Show Coming to Pa. Convention Center

by KYW's Michelle Durham

The annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show is coming up! Attendees can expect to see everything from furniture to clothing at this event.

The show runs November 12th through the 15th at the Pennsylvania Convention Center and features 195 crafters from all over the country and 26 artists from Korea coming in to show their wares.

Show manager Nancy O'Meara says this is a great family event:

"It's really important for children, as well as adults, to come out and see the art. What's great about our show is that the artists are there and you go from booth to booth these artists have worked hard all year long to put together great fabulous work and they are there to talk to you about their work."

There will be demonstrations, too:

"We have an artist on Thursday at 1pm and he is going to be demonstrating how to make a shaker box."

There's an online auction if you can't make it in person! All the proceeds of this show go to the Philadelphia Museum of Art...last year this event raised more then $400,000.

For more information, visit www.pmacraftshow.org -- there's a link right there for the auction.
