The latest concern surrounding the H1N1 vaccine is that it is getting in the hands of large employers, including wall street banks, financial institutions -- Goldman Sachs and Citigroup have received shipments.
Officials in New York are saying that they are giving it to these companies that have medical departments, and the medical departments have assured the providers of the vaccine that they will be used for high-risk patients, like people who are pregnant.
The CDC would like to make sure the vaccine is given to people who need it most, regardless of socioeconomic status. But the decision can be made at the state level, and at least in New York's state, there has been a decision that some of the vaccine is going to go to large companies.
