Comcast Center's Video Show Goes 3D for The Holidays

by KYW's Lynne Adkins

This year's holiday show at the Comcast Center has gone high-tech.

The huge video wall at the Comcast Center, 17th and JFK Boulevard in Philadelphia, is impressive on its own. But now it has gone 3D for the holiday show.

Brian Roberts is chairman and CEO of Comcast:

"I think the computer generated material is absolutely incredible in 3D.  It feels like it's coming right at you!"

Wearing special two-color cardboard eyeglasses during the 19-minute show, you'll enjoy some dancing, ice skating, The Nutcracker, and a ride through the snow on a sled.

(Boy:) "It was good. When you close your right eye it's in 2D, when you open both eyes it's in 3D."

(Adult:)  "It was great, somebody stopped us and said come watch this and it was fantastic.

(Girl:)  "I loved it.  I thought it was great.  I loved the kids singing."

The show runs hourly from 10am until 8pm, November 26th through January 1st.
