The FBI needs your help to track down a man whom they say committed two stickups at two different Philadelphia banks on Monday -- in a span of two hours.
The first incident took place about 9:30am when, officials say, he attempted to hold up a Sovereign Bank branch in the 2700 block of South 10th Street in South Philadelphia, but left before taking any money.
Then, just before 11:30am, authorities say, the same man made a threat and demanded cash at a Wachovia Bank branch along the 1200 block of East Hunting Park Avenue, in the Juniata Park section of the city.
In both instances, the robber fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 30s, about six feet tall, about 250 pounds.
The FBI says he has a beard and a bushy afro, but warn it may be a wig. At the time, he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and was carrying a shoulder bag.
The subject is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department.
