Close to 150 young adults in their 20s and 30s spent Thursday night inside a bar, but they were there listening to Catholic theology.
The program at Finnigan's Wake is called Theology on Tap, and featured a bar, a buffet, and Cardinal Justin Rigali.
"If we've been forgiven by God and realize it, then you know what? It's a whole new way of life. It's a whole different attitude to other people. We are compassionate, we are merciful, we are forgiving."
One of the topics he touched on was forgiveness.
"If he or she is conscious of being forgiven by God then that's an incentive to real humility."
Ann Haninchik is a regular for these Thursday night programs. She Ann Haninchik believes many young people come because the culture isn't fulfilling them.
"I think they come here to maybe not so much to find answers, but to seek and to hear."
Theology on Tap is held every Thursday night through August 16th.
