A Temple grad has helped produce an in-depth documentary on the Katrina disaster.
Shortly after graduating from Temple University School of Communications and Theater, Sarah Radcliffe landed her first job at Taproot Productions in Chicago.
"I began working on it as soon as I started my first day of work. The basic premise is that 600 New Orleans residents, largely African-American, were airlifted to Salt Lake City and they were put on a plane without any knowledge of where they were going and were pretty much given the go-ahead to start a new life there."
Radcliffe says The Desert Bayou comes to Philadelphia theaters in November and that it was two years in the making. For more info, go to www.desertbayoumovie.com.
