Fuzzy details surround reports of an attempted suicide by Dallas Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens. Both T.O. and his publicist deny ever telling anyone the football star popped too many pills because he was depressed, but police reports read differently.
T.O. himself denied being depressed:
“No, I'm not depressed by any means. I think I'm very happy to be here.”
Owens says there was some confusion by his publicist on 35 missing pain killers which, according to a Dallas police report, she believed T.O. had taken. Owens admits to taking extra pills but not to kill himself:
”The rumor of me taking 35 pills, I think, is absurd.”
T.O. hopes to play against Tennessee on Sunday.
